About Elden Pennington

Born and raised in New Mexico, Elden Pennington is the founder of the law firm of Pennington Law, LLC located in Santa Fe. With over a decade of legal experience, having tried over 120 cases, he focuses his practice on criminal defense and personal injury matters, but also takes on administrative law proceedings, including driver’s license suspensions, and license revocations. As a lifetime outdoorsman, he has a lot of experience himself and know the game and fish system firsthand.

Mr. Pennington has a genuine concern for his clients, and this is seen in the way he handles every case, fighting aggressively for the rights and liberties of his clients. He shows an unwavering commitment to his clients’ needs and provides personalized, efficient and cost-effective counsel to all his clients. 

Having obtained a long list of successful verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients, Mr. Pennington strives to bring justice to his clients who have been injured because of the negligence and carelessness of another party and also for those who have been accused of wrongdoing. He is well known for the diligent and tireless advocacy he provides for his clients.

With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Conservation Studies from Santa Fe College, he obtained his Juris Doctor from the Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He is admitted to practice in the state of New Mexico and before the United States District Court. 

Honored for his diligent and dedicated legal services, Mr. Pennington received many accolades, including being named to the Top 10 DUI Defense Attorneys by Attorney and Practice Magazine (2019, 2020) and being named to the country’s Top 40 Under 40 by The National Trial Lawyers.
