Born in Santa Fe and raised in Southern New Mexico, Elden Pennington is the founder of Pennington Law, LLC and brings over 15 years of legal experience, having tried more than 125 cases. An avid hunter and licensed New Mexico guide and outfitter who operates True West Guides and Outfitters, he combines firsthand knowledge of the outdoors and operational expertise with his legal practice. He represents hunters, guides, and outfitters in criminal, personal injury, and administrative matters—including Game and Fish violations, license suspensions, and regulatory issues—protecting both livelihoods and professional reputations.
Mr. Pennington has a genuine concern for his clients, and this is seen in the way he handles every case, fighting aggressively for the rights and liberties of his clients. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Conservation Studies from Santa Fe College, he obtained his Juris Doctor from the Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He is admitted to practice in the state of New Mexico and before the United States District Court.
